City of Whittemore - July 7, 2026, Zoning Ordinance Public Hearing

The City of Whittemore Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on July 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM to recommend adoption of a new Zoning Ordinance to the City Council. The new ordinance will replace the current Zoning Ordinance in its entirety. The public hearing will be held at City Hall at 503 S Bullock St, Whittemore, MI 48770.  The full text of the new Zoning Ordinance is available by clicking below. Written comments may be sent to the above address or emailed to clerk@cityofwhittemore.com prior to the meeting. The public may appear at the public hearing in person or by counsel. The new zoning ordinance also includes a new zoning map which more closely reflects the actual uses on lots in the city. The rezoning includes rezoning of the following parcels:
