Millen Township Master Plan
Please be advised that the Northeast Michigan Council of Governments (NEMCOG), in coordination with Millen Township, has completed an update to the Millen Township Master Plan. The Millen Township Board has approved the draft Master Plan for distribution to adjacent communities and all required agencies.
In accordance with Public Act 33 of 2008, as amended, your community/agency has 63 days from receipt of this notice to review the draft plan and submit any comments. Please forward the draft to your Planning Commission and any other relevant parties for review.

The Millen Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the draft Master Plan on May 18, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at the Millen Township Hall /. Barton City Eagles Hall, 671 Sanborn Rd, Barton City, Michigan, to review all received comments and to formally consider recommending the plan for adoption.
