The 2026-2030 City of Cheboygan Recreation Plan draft is now available for a 30-day public review and comment period.

How to view the Plan

1. Download from the City website at https://www.cheboygan.org.
   1. Download from the NEMCOG website at http://www.discovernortheastmichigan.org.
   2. A copy is available for viewing at City Hall during normal business hours.

How to submit comments

1. Email written comments to amartin@cheboygan.org.
2. Mail written comments to City of Cheboygan, 403 North Huron Street, Cheboygan, MI 49721.

Public Hearing

Following the 30-day review, the City Council will hold a public hearing on the Recreation Plan on January 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. during their regular meeting at the City Hall located  at 403 North Huron Street, Cheboygan, MI 4972. The public hearing provides an opportunity to participate in the final development of the Recreation Plan.
