Montmorency Township Zoning Amendment
The Montmorency Township Board adopted Ordinance 2 of 2025, an ordinance to amend the zoning ordinance, on October 14, 2025. The proposed amendment can be accessed by clicking below. The amendment modifies Article 6 to allow single-family dwellings to be built on lots which are less than 100 feet wide and less than 10,000 square feet in the RR-1 District. The amendment adds subsection G to Article 11 which allows single-family dwellings to be built upon nonconforming lots of record in any district as long as setbacks are met or a variance for setbacks is approved.
