Stay-At-Home Mom Returns to Work with Help from Michigan Works! PATH Program

Amelia B. began working with Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium through the P.A.T.H. program. With the help of Michigan Works! and a grant from the Otsego Community Foundation, Amelia was able to repair her vehicle and get it road ready. Once her car was repaired, Amelia was able to regain employment with her previous employer, Pauls Pub, after a year hiatus, even obtaining additional hours. Pauls Pub was just as happy to have Amelia back as she was to be back.

“Thank you for all the help that you provided. I now have safe and reliable transportation,” said Amelia. “Although Northern Michigan is a wonderful place to live, you need transportation for work opportunities.”
