London M was unable to make enough to pay bills without having numerous jobs, but he was living in an area with few employment options. London came to Michigan Works! to see if they could help him find a better career and a solution.

Michigan Works! was able to help London pay for his CDL training, which opened up more
opportunities. With his new CDL, London was able to resume a past job he had at a company that had raised their standards for hires (demanding employees have their CDL license rather than just chauffeur’s license).

With his new CDL license and new job, London is on a better career path and finding it easier to make ends meet. He states, “Perseverance pays. Keep the metaphorical “wheels turning” and change is sure to follow!”
