Teen Mother Finds Full-Time Employment

kaylee_jones_picture.jpg

Kaylee Jones was still in high school when she had twins. After she graduated, she went on state assistance.

When Kaylee came to Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium, Case Manager Jenna Willobee helped her with resume assistance, job search assistance and mileage reimbursement. Kaylee began working as a home health direct careworker, but when her hours got cut she moved on to a full-time position at Bigby Coffee.

Being a single mother supporting twins, Kaylee is thankful for the help Michigan Works! provided, stating, “Michigan Works helped me build the tools I needed to find employment.”
