Michigan Works! Hosting 3 Job Fairs Across Northeast MI in April
This April Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium will be hosting three job fairs across northeast Michigan. Michigan Works! Job Fairs are the largest multi-employer job fairs in the region, with over 100 area employers expected to participate and hundreds of jobs available. Job seekers can expect full-time, part-time, and seasonal openings.
Job fair dates, times and locations are as follows:
GAYLORD: Thursday, April 5th, 3pm-5pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 515 S Wisconsin Ave.
ALPENA: Tuesday, April 17th, 3pm-5pm at the Alpena Community College Park Arena, 665 Johnson St.
GRAYLING: Wednesday, April 18th, 3pm-5pm at the Grayling Ramada Inn, 2650 I-75 Business Loop
Whether you’re interested in a career change or perhaps just a summer job, these job fairs are great opportunities to network and engage with a variety of employers in one location. All fairs are open to the public and there is no cost to attend. Bring copies of your updated resume and dress prepared to interview. Please, no children, pets, or food/beverages allowed.

Job seekers who want to stand out from their competition are welcome to attend a FREE Job Fair Prep Class prior to the fairs. Job Fair Prep Classes are offered in Gaylord, Alpena, and Grayling. In 2017, Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium’s regional job fairs represented over 200 area employers with over 800 positions available and drew over 650 job seekers. This year’s fairs are expected to have even more positions available!
