Request for Bids - Coastal Trail Planning
REQUEST FOR BIDS – NON-MOTORIZED ROUTE PLANNING AND FEASIBILITY STUDY
The Northeast Michigan Council of Governments (NEMCOG) is requesting bids to do work on a non-motorized route feasibility study. The work will be conducted in Northeast Michigan in the corridor near US 23 highway between Alpena, Michigan and Oscoda, AuSable Township, Michigan. The work requires previous experience and familiarity with this particular region and a keen understanding of non-motorized funding opportunities in Michigan along with the requirements of all potential funding sources for non-motorized pathway or road improvements.
Letters of reference are preferred.
BUDGET: The budget for this work is not to exceed $15,000.00.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY: Previous work experience in the area of non-motorized trail, route, and pathway planning will be an important factor in choosing a contractor. Previous experience facilitating public meeting regarding trail feasibility, implementation, and funding will be required. Must not be on the SAM.gov debarred list and must have DUNS number.
