Mich-e-ke-wis Park

The City of Alpena wants to know what the residents want for the future of Mich-e-ke-wis Park. The City is seeking public input and ideas that will help them create a great community park, using ideas from area residents. The park plan is being updated and this input will determine what happens next at Mich-e-ke-wis.

The City hosted an event on March 12th, 2019 at the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Approximately 60 people attended and provided some very valuable insight into why they like the park and what they'd like to see the park look like in the future.

**The summary of the event can be downloaded here.
